The Grande Prairie Police Service offers Police Information Checks through a secure online application system. Applicants can submit requests online through the application portal.
Before You Apply
The online application system uses Electronic Identity Verification (EIV) to confirm an applicant's identity. We do not recommend using the online system if you:
- Have lived in Canada for less than one year;
- Are under 18 years of age;
- Applicants seeking a government position may be eligible to apply at age 14. Employment details may be verified.
- Do not have an established personal credit history, such as a credit card, bank loan, or mortgage.
If you are unable to verify your identity through EIV, you will be required to attend GPPS headquarters at 10202 99 Street in person and provide two pieces of identification.
